Natalie has conducted many prestigious ensembles, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Beethoven Orchester Bonn, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Malta Philharmonic, Britten Sinfonia, BBC Concert Orchestra, Orquestra Sinfónica Portuguesa, Presidential Orchestra of Turkey, Symphony Nova Scotia, Auckland Philharmonia, Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
Her Royal Opera House, Covent Garden debut, was lauded as “expertly conducted” by the Financial Times and hailed as “the defining work of art of the Covid period” by The Stage. Further opera conducting engagements include English National Opera, Theater Bonn, the Croatian National Theatre, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Le Grand Theâtre Luxembourg, Royal Opera House Mumbai, New Zealand Opera and Opera Holland Park.
The Australian conductor trained at Sydney Conservatorium, Guildhall (UK) National Opera Studio (UK) and with Maestro Jorma Panula. She was awarded a BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellowship, the London Symphony Chorus conducting scholarship, is an alumna of The Dallas Opera Hart Institute and has been mentored by Esa-Pekka Salonen. She gained further conducting experience at Opéra national de Paris, Théâtre des Champs- Élysées, Festival Aix-en-Provence and the Wiener Festwochen. Previously Creative Director of Independent Opera at Sadler’s Wells, Natalie led their innovative Programming, Commissioning and Artist Support Programme. As a mentor for the Festival Aix Académie and Professor at the Royal College of Music, Natalie has supported many emerging artists.
Her conducting for film and games includes the BAFTA-nominated soundtrack Alien:Isolation and Robot Overlords. Recent feature film credits include Tár (2022), nominated for 6 Academy Awards, and upcoming releases The History of Sound (2025) and The Choral (2025). She conducts the London Symphony Orchestra on the Tár concept album which achieved No. 1 in the Billboard Classical charts, released by Deutsche Grammophon.
